Some testimonials to get you started:

- Thomas (19) spent 10 weeks in Buenos Aires, Argentina: "My experience volunteering through The Language Gap in Buenos Aires has been really fun and exciting. I have been heavily integrated into the culture, the people and the language here. Volunteering in the projects or Villas makes me feel like I am making a huge difference to the kids who live and go to school there through sports and teaching them music."

- Emily (25), an experienced NHS physiotherapist, volunteered at La Paz, Bolivia and had this to say: "I have had an unforgettable experience volunteering for Funprobo for 4 weeks. Funprobo is a non-profit organisation providing prosthetics to people with limited resources. I have been teaching patients to walk again with their new limb, providing psychological support and most importantly building up their confidence. This volunteering experience through the Language Gap has been the highlight of my 7 months travelling."

- Ollie (18) spent a month volunteering, teaching in an outreach centre with street children (talibés) in St Louis, Senegal :"MDLG was such a welcoming charity and allows the volunteers to be as independent as possible with what they do from day to day. I was constantly speaking French for a solid month which definitely helped me improve. Above all, it was so positive seeing the older talibés improve enormously in their English and Maths in my short time there."
